On Nov. 8, Nestlé Purina completed the acquisition of its new facility at 266 Industrial Park Road in Hartwell, Georgia. Purina will invest $320 million into the new facility, which will create as many as 240 jobs over the next five years.
Purina is donating 40,000 pounds of pet food to support Hurricane Maria relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
On Sept. 19, the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri officially opened its new Care Unit, made possible by Purina.
Purina has committed product donations and $25,000 to GreaterGood.org for Hurricane Irma disaster relief supplies and services.
To aid in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston and surrounding areas, Purina is making a donation of $25,000 to Greater Good to support people and pets who have been impacted.
