Beggin’ Strips has always been transparent and accurate in its advertising, marketing and packaging. The product, including the bacon ingredient, is labeled in full compliance with state and federal labeling requirements. The notion that anyone would actually think we're selling bacon is nonsense.
We’ve even used “dogs don’t know it’s not bacon” in our advertising and on packaging. That makes it clear that it is not actually bacon. It’s a fun treat, that includes bacon as one ingredient. Consumers get it, and dogs love it.
