Purina Helping Pets Impacted by California Wildfires
Our hearts go out to the families and pets in California who are being impacted by the wildfires. To aid in the relief, Purina is donating an additional $10,000 to GreaterGood.org to support immediate rescue efforts and provide much-needed supplies to communities affected by the fires. This latest donation brings Purina’s grand total to $60,000 in funding and more than 60,000 pounds in pet food and litter donations to support victims of natural disasters this year. We continue to standby and are prepared to send additional pet food and litter to organizations across the state of California that are caring for displaced animals.
In times of natural disaster, Purina provides timely support to people and pets in need by working with our national disaster relief partners at GreaterGood.org and Rescue Bank to get Purina product and funding to areas that are being impacted. In 2017, we donated $60,000 and more than 350,000 pounds of pet food and litter to support to victims of natural disasters across the United States.
