LOUIS, Missouri – January 14, 2020 – As a leading producer of quality pet food in Iowa, Nestlé Purina PetCare joined with conservation partner Ducks Unlimited in voicing support for Iowa Governor Kim Reynold’s announcement encouraging legislators to improve water quality and soil health by funding the Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Trust Fund. Last year, Purina committed $1 million to protect and improve 1,600 acres of wetlands across Iowa through Ducks Unlimited’s Living Lakes Initiative to help promote environmental stewardship, recreational use of lakes and healthy wildlife habitat.
